The SlimLipo™ Procedure

SlimLipo™ technology is generally used on the stomach, hips, thighs, flanks, buttocks, arms, neck, and chin. Dr. Derr begins by making several small incisions around the region(s) of the body to be treated. A small, tube-like device called a cannula is inserted through these incisions. The cannula uses selected wavelengths of light energy to target pockets of fat and tissue, effectively breaking up fat cells so they melt away from the body. When Dr. Derr is finished, the incisions are closed with small sutures.
